Information We Collect

Tournament Maestro collects information necessary to provide tournament management services. This may include:

  • Player names and contact information
  • Tournament registration details
  • Match scores and results
  • Phone numbers (only if you opt in to receive SMS notifications)

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve Tournament Maestro services, including:

  • Managing tournament brackets and schedules
  • Coordinating match assignments and court allocations
  • Communicating tournament updates to participants
  • Maintaining accurate scoring and standings

SMS Communications

If you opt in to receive SMS notifications from Tournament Maestro, we may send tournament- and event-related text messages such as match assignments, court numbers, event invitations and reminders for your group or league, and schedule updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

SMS consent is optional and is not required to register, join a group, or participate in play. You choose whether to opt in, and you provide your own mobile number when you do.

Data Sharing

Tournament Maestro does not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information only as necessary to:

  • Provide our tournament management services
  • Comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests
  • Deliver SMS notifications through our messaging service provider (if you have opted in)

DUPR Integration

If you choose to connect your DUPR account, DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) shares with us the information you approve on DUPR's consent screen: your DUPR ID, name, ratings and birth year, plus any optional fields you turn on. We store your DUPR ID, your current ratings, your DUPR subscription level (used only to check event eligibility), and read-only access tokens that let us keep your rating up to date. We never see your DUPR password.

When an organizer submits results from an event you played in, we send the match (players' DUPR IDs, scores, date, event name and, for club events, the DUPR club) to DUPR so it counts toward ratings. Organizers can correct or remove a submitted match, and you can dispute one through our support page. You can disconnect Tournament Maestro at any time from your DUPR profile settings; we then stop syncing your rating and your access tokens stop working.
